RSU Opens Modern Dental Center
 
On May 8, 2006, a ceremony was graced by Dr. Arthit Ourairat, President of Rangsit University, as he became the chairperson to open the RSU Dental Center which is a large and modern center at Vanich Bldg 2 3rd floor together with other distinguished guests.

Dr. Arthit Ourairat said that the objective of this event is to support the dental needs of people who want to take care of their teeth at this point in time. Because of the many skillful dentists-teachers of the College of Dentistry of Rangsit University, the event was attended by a combination of dentists who could serve the society and study new researches as well that would be useful to everyone in the future.
 
 
 
 
 
 
The RSU Dental Center is regarded as a modern day center where complete service-checking and curing of teeth by skillful dentists are done in modern operation system where data are formatted in a register and X-ray digital system online. It is also comfortable and fast with 11 rooms for adult's consultation and 2 rooms for children with modern amenities in a secured, clean, and sterile environment. The center opens from May 2006 onwards.
 
 
 
 
 
 
The event had 3 popular personalities namely; "The Masayawanich Family"(Bow-Flook), an outspoken emcee "Kalamir" Pacharasi Benchamas, and "Kob" Pimonrat , a DJ from Fat Radio-"Changnoy Na Ayataya" plus proficient dentists from the RSU Dental Center talking about caring for the teeth.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Dr. Chanathip Amatayakul, Director of RSU Dental Center said that people must take care of their teeth from the time that they were born and mothers must look after the diet of the family ensuring they have a balance meal coming from the five basic food groups.

Then one should consult the dentist at least twice a year as an important habit and avoid sugary foods. It was also discovered that cigarettes are cause of periodontitis in adults. Moreover, people afflicted with diseases like diabetes should consider taking care of their teeth's health because this may be adversely affected by periodontitis.
